Walking in a Digital Wonderland
By RIS News
Whether you love her or think she’s just plain bizarre, there’s no denying that
musician Lady Gaga draws people’s attention. That’s why Barneys in New York City partnered with the singer this past holiday season to transform its window displays into “Gaga’s Workshop,” a unique take on Santa’s iconic workshop. In addition to Gaga-inspired window displays designed in collaboration with fashion director Nicola Formichetti, the workshop featured a digital installation by Prysm. The curved eight-feet by five-feet video wall, called “Gaga Constellation,” was located in a street-level window next to the store’s front door. The Laser Phosphor Display (LPD) wall interacted with and engaged shoppers and passers-by by featuring live Twitter messages sent by Barneys’ customers.
