Avocado Security's BI Software and Security Platform Goes Live on Net
Avocado Security announces the availability of its Enterprise Edition Version 2.0 Security and Business Intelligence (BI) Optimization Platform, which manages security details across multiple enterprise locations.
Avocado Enterprise V2.0 is designed specifically to be a small-footprint program that uses fewer physical security, IT and system resources. This system is designed for enterprises containing multiple locations, remote facilities with low-bandwidth connections and employing a retailer's existing or legacy security systems and computers without much processing power.
The software helps discover, detect, analyze and maximize surveillance security information, regardless of where and when it is generated. Avocado Security's new technology delivers BI with security images by taking the video images from surveillance cameras and translating them into intelligent, usable, business data and statistics.
Another key advantage of Avocado Security's technology is that it is security device (DVR) agnostic, which helps retailers leverage more usage out of their existing security system and infrastructure. Avocado Security makes extensive use of Video Imagery Technology (VIT) and is specifically designed to allow compatibility with numerous and multiple Codecs, security protocols and message formats while enabling real-time conversion of video to graphs, charts and business metrics.
Avocado Security can convert video images from the existing security equipment that comes from one vendor, or from multiple equipment vendors and translate those images into usable data. Avocado Security's technologies can also integrate a retailer's security platform across multiple locations and can showcase the security details of each location by generating daily, weekly and monthly status reports, allowing security personnel with the information that is needed to better manage their security needs in multiple locations.
