Macy's Digital Makeover

The Macy’s store at the Promenade Shops at Centerra in Denver, CO received a digital makeover in November when videomapping was used to project shows onto the building’s exterior. Two shows — one based on the evolution of the Colorado environment and the other on dreamscape-inspired geometry — were projected on the 60-foot-tall by 120-foot-wide exterior of Macy’s. Using high-lumen projectors and cutting-edge visual design software, New York City-based multimedia design lab Integrated Visions Productions created the videomapping experiences. The Promenade Shops selected the technology to create a landmark spectacle to help the center stand out from competitors.
