Arena Brands Outsources its EDI Operations

Arena Brands, a western apparel retailer, recognized that it had a small IT staff and faced the daily challenge of too many projects and not enough staff or resources. Arena owned a PC-based EDI software that required all communications to be manually entered. It also required an IT staff member to monitor the system constantly for inbound EDI transactions.

Arena opted to replace the PC-system and completely outsource their EDI to SPS Commerce. By outsourcing, Arena relieved its EDI operations and could focus more on other IT projects, which included implementing a new shipping system. Today, Arena has EDI connections with 21 trading partners via SPS Commerce and can bring on new trading partners in a day or two.
