Victoria's Secret Ranks Highest Among Top Apparel Web Sites
Victoria's Secret is the number one apparel Web site attracting nearly six million shoppers to its site last month according to Compete's July Retail Report. Rounding out the top 3 retailers are Zappos which drew 5.3 million shoppers to its Web site and Cafe Press which attracted approximately 3.8 million shoppers to its Web Site.
Victoria's Secret also beat out the other nine retailers in the ranking based on average stay time with shoppers spending 11.2 minutes on the Web site. Coming in a near second is Children's Place, in which shoppers spent an average of 10 minutes on their Web site.
Aeropostale was the frontrunner in a ranking of year-over-year growth, with a 67 percent increase reported. Other retailers that experienced substantial double-digit growth include American Eagle (49% growth) and Children's Place (35% growth) reported year-over-year.
