Cabela's Enhances Mobile Experience with Multi-Function App
Cabela's has adopted the SWAGG smartphone application, providing its customers with mobile access the ability to buy and send digital gift cards, receive targeted offers, manage their gift, reward and loyalty programs and speed in-store checkout processes.
"Our customers are increasingly expecting a mobile experience to assist with their shopping and gift-giving needs," said Mindy Knight, Cabela's merchant relations manager in a statement. "SWAGG is the perfect fit for our country's outdoor enthusiasts who lead a mobile lifestyle while hunting, fishing or camping."
SWAGG is the direct-to-consumer offering from Firethorn Mobile, a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm. The application allows customers to buy and send digital gift cards from more than 25 participating merchants, import plastic gift and rewards cards from 500-plus supported merchants and access offers from more than 4,500 merchants across the U.S. During the checkout process, customers using the SWAGG app simply display it at the store's point-of-sale.
